Serving Anthem, Arizona
Anthem Home Services
When the North Valley heat hits triple digits by 9 a.m., you need a crew that's close — not one driving up from Chandler.
Anthem specialty: AC Repair & Replacement · Tankless Water Heaters · Well Pumps · Aging System Service
Anthem sits 32 miles north of downtown Phoenix at the base of Daisy Mountain, straddling I-17 in the North Valley. About 25,000 residents live across two distinct communities — Anthem Parkside, the larger family-oriented section with over 7,200 homes, and Anthem Country Club, a gated golf community with nearly 2,850 single-story homes and two private courses. Built primarily between 1999 and 2015, most of Anthem is now 10 to 25 years old — which puts a significant portion of the housing stock squarely in that first-major-replacement window for HVAC systems, water heaters, and plumbing.
Our north Phoenix office at 39218 N 17th Ave puts us closer to Anthem than any other home services company based in the southeast Valley. The I-17 north is a straight shot — most of Anthem is within 20 to 30 minutes from our north office, and we run calls in Parkside and Country Club regularly. Same-day service up here isn't a stretch when you have an office on this side of the Valley.
Anthem is an unincorporated community with a unique jurisdiction split: Parkside west of I-17 is served by the City of Phoenix, while the east side falls under Maricopa County. Both sides get the same crew and the same service from us — the jurisdiction line is invisible on a service call.
Anthem Communities We Serve
Anthem Parkside
The largest portion of Anthem — over 7,200 homes in multiple sub-neighborhoods, surrounding the 63-acre Anthem Community Park with pools, splash pad, trails, and recreation facilities. Homes in Parkside range from 1,112 to 4,338 square feet built across multiple series by Del Webb, Pulte, Centex, and other builders. The original Parkside sections from 1999–2006 are now 20–26 years old — the AC systems, water heaters, and ductwork installed during that wave are approaching or past designed service life under Arizona operating conditions. We handle a high volume of system replacements in Parkside's older sections, alongside the ongoing maintenance and repair calls in the newer east-side builds.
Anthem Country Club
A gated community with nearly 2,850 single-story homes, two private golf courses (Persimmon and Ironwood), and two private clubhouses with tennis, pickleball, pools, and restaurants. Country Club homes are all single-story, which changes the service profile from Parkside's mix of single and two-story builds — attic access, duct runs, and AC unit placement differ, and we account for that. Homeowners here tend to be retirees or active adults who value a crew that shows up on time, explains the job clearly, and leaves a clean workspace. We work in Country Club regularly and understand what that standard looks like.
Arroyo Grande
Separated from the rest of Anthem by the New River wash, Arroyo Grande is accessed off New River Road west of I-17 — about 15 minutes from central Anthem. Larger homes on larger lots, some with space for boats or RVs. The more rural character of Arroyo Grande means we occasionally see well-water properties and longer electrical runs — same approach as our New River and Gold Canyon acreage work. A quieter, more secluded feel than the main Anthem communities, with homeowners who appreciate a trade crew that doesn't need hand-holding on access.
Tramonto and Surrounding North Valley Communities
Tramonto sits just south of Anthem along the I-17 corridor — a master-planned community with its own distinct HOA and a similar vintage to Anthem's older sections. We serve Tramonto alongside Anthem and treat it as part of the same North Valley service zone from our Phoenix office. Similar service profile: homes from the early-to-mid 2000s with original equipment now hitting replacement age.
The Anthem Service Profile
Aging original equipment
Anthem's primary buildout happened between 1999 and 2010. That means the original AC systems, water heaters, and ductwork in most Parkside homes are now 15 to 26 years old — running in an Arizona climate that ages equipment at roughly 1.5 to 2x the national rate due to operating hours. We see a consistent pattern in Anthem: systems that have never been professionally serviced since installation, water heaters that have never been flushed, and ductwork that was sized adequately at build but is now leaking at connections. An A-Team Maintenance Club tune-up on an Anthem home that hasn't been touched in a decade often surfaces two or three items the homeowner didn't know were deferred.
Hard water and tankless water heater service
Anthem's water comes from EPCOR (formerly Chaparral City Water Company) — surface water blended with local groundwater. The mineral content is significant enough that tankless water heaters in Anthem without a water softener upstream will accumulate scale inside the heat exchanger within 18 to 24 months. Annual descaling for tankless units is mandatory here, not optional — and we cover it under the A-Team Maintenance Club. If you have a tankless unit and you've never had it descaled, call us before it becomes a replacement conversation.

Well-water properties
Some properties on the outer edges of Anthem — particularly in Arroyo Grande and the areas bordering New River to the west — are on private wells rather than EPCOR service. We bring the same well pump diagnostics, pressure tank service, and well-water treatment approach that we use in neighboring New River — served from the same north Phoenix office — and rural Gold Canyon. If you're on a well in the Anthem area, we know what to look for.
AC systems running hard in the North Valley elevation
Anthem sits at roughly 2,000 feet elevation — meaningfully higher than the flat Valley floor. The elevation brings slightly cooler nights than central Phoenix, but summer daytime temperatures are still extreme, and AC systems at this elevation deal with specific challenges: lower air density affects refrigerant circuit performance, and the mountain terrain creates wind exposure that affects outdoor unit performance over time. These are variables we account for on replacements and tune-ups rather than defaulting to a one-size-fits-all specification.
What We Do in Anthem
Air Conditioning & Heating
Same-day AC repair on all major brands — capacitor and contactor failures, refrigerant leaks, compressor issues, blower motor failures. AC installation and replacement with proper load calculation for Anthem's elevation and sun exposure. Annual spring tune-ups before the North Valley heat season — scheduling in March or April from our Phoenix office is the right move before summer demand locks up appointment availability. Heat pump service, furnace installation, and new-build system commissioning.
